MiRET presents “Voces” Ep out now on Tropical Twista Records.
The Ep consists of three original tracks, all of which are carefully crafted productions including spoken word delivering powerful and meaningful messages.
The first track “You Are The Spirit” will take you on a hypnotic trip, driven by a sweet arpeggio and topped off with some Native American flute melodies as it delivers a powerful spiritual message: you are the spirit
The second track “The Pale Blue Dot” consists of space field recordings, a bouncy bassline, some acid sounds, and a solid groove to launch you into a journey to the cosmos. The voice this time narrated by scientist Carl Sagan, who invites you to a deep meditation on science, our universe and our role as humans in it.
The third track “Los Nadies” is a groovy 114 bpm dancefloor bomb. It’s tight percussion, mallets and catchy synth lines make a beautiful frame to deliver a thoughtful message on our contemporary society, culture, folclore, injustice, and all the “forgotten” struggling human beings: “los nadies” (the nobodies); all through the voice of the Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano.
